Most of the time adults and children do not take the time to thank Our Heavenly Father for all that he does for them. He expects it, one of his commandments is to thank him and talk to him. Also to ask for forgiveness when you make a mistake. He will forgive you. All the bad things will be taken off your record in heaven. You should ask for forgiveness as soon as you realize that you did something wrong.

This part is teaching praising Our Heavenly Father.

Praise to Our Heavenly Father is a way to acknowledge the Lord for Who He is and that it's similar to telling a person something that you like about them. Read Psalm 100, one verse at a time giving an explanation of the different ways and reasons for praising Our Heavenly Father. Some people praise Our Heavenly Father through music and dancing that is biblical. They also thank Our Heavenly Father and tell the stories of how they were in trouble and Our Heavenly Father helped you. Tell true stories, do not make them up. Sing children’s songs that help praise to Our Heavenly Father. Spend quiet time with Our Heavenly Father in a quiet place and thank him for what he has done for you, and ask for forgiveness if you need to.This is what the lord commands us to do, and sometimes you fall short, and it is important to ask for forgiveness when this happens. We will talk more about this in the upcoming week.

  • 2 Samuel 22:50 – Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the christian people and sing praises to Your name.
  • 1 Chronicles 16:8 – Oh, give thanks to the Lord! ...
  • 1 Chronicles 29:13 – Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise your glorious name.

Closing prayer; Heavenly Father we thank you for the opportunity to learn how to thank you and praise you. We also pray that if they do not understand that you can help them through your Holy Spirit or through thier parents. We thank you in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer of Salvation to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
