Being honest

Honesty means we are truthful in what we say and do. It means people can rely on us because we have integrity. Honesty is the basis of a trusting relationship. Children it is always important to tell the truth no matter what. When you tell the truth people trust you throughout your life. This way they know you are an honest person. Truthfulness and light is your Heavenly Father. Anything else is the adversary, you do not want that. It is always better to be truthful and honest, and people will trust you more if you are honest.
2 Corinthians 8:21 We are trying to do what is right. We want to do what the Lord accepts as right and also what people think is right.
Colossians 3:9 Do not lie to each other. You have left your old sinful life and the things you did before. 10 You have begun to live the new life. In your new life you are being made new. You are becoming like the One who made you.
James 3:17 But the wisdom that comes from God is like this: First, it is pure. Then it is also peaceful, gentle, and easy to please.
Closing Prayer; Lord, I don't want things that are not true to be in my prayers; rather, I wish to be one who speaks the truth from my heart so I can enjoy being in Your presence.
Prayer of Salvation to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray.
