Rest and peace

Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Our Lord and on earth by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss Written by Raynette K. Weiss and Jessie K. Weiss. We invite you to a review lesson on peace and rest, Saturday December 2, 2023.

Matthew 11:28-29 28 “Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads. I will give you rest. 29 Accept my work and learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit. And you will find rest for your souls.

Philippians 4:6-76 Do not worry about anything. But pray and ask God for everything you need. And when you pray, always give thanks. 7 And God’s peace will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. The peace that God gives is so great that we cannot understand it.

Isaiah 26:3 You, Lord, give true peace.
You give peace to those who depend on you.
You give peace to those who trust you.

Proverbs 14:30 Peace of mind means a healthy body.
But jealousy will rot your bones.

Our Heavenly Father expects all of us to rest. Our body needs rest, and so does our soul. We need to have Our Heavenly Father’s peace to make it on earth. If you do not, you feel more of the earthly things. We have had other lessons about that we belong to heaven and not the earth. Peace gives you joy, and joy gives you fun. On this holiday season we want you to have fun with your family and friends, but we want you to get into the bible. But if you do not have a bible, we encourage you to use the lessons online with the verses. We need rest because we would get tired if we do not. Our Heavenly Fathers peace helps us do that. Sometimes when you relax and you have overdone, you can get tired too, and if you are not in school then you can take a nap or some activity outside of your home. During these busy times, try to learn to pace your time so you do not get tired as well. Do a few activities, then sit and rest for a half hour then get up and do a few more if you are at home and able to do that. If you get tired at school your teachers and coaches will help you pace your time better. Always pray to Our Heavenly Father and thank him for everything he does. Praise him by singing, and dancing. This is a good way for children to praise the lord. Those who have challenges can do it in the way you can do it. You can use gospel songs to do this as well.

Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we pray that these children learn to rest during thier busy days and learn to pace time, and learn about your grace and peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer of Salvation to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
