Opening Hymn; Praise God from whom all blessings flow by Thomas Ken; Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heav'nly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
On the night of Jesus’ birth there were humble shepherds watching their sheep in the fields nearby Bethlehem. A host of angels suddenly appeared to these shepherds and told them of the Messiah’s birth. Excited, they went quickly to find the baby. They were anxious to see the King. A blessing can be a prayer of commission, a Bible passage, or words of encouragement. Blessings can also be spoken over a child for the purpose of declaring God's protection, joy, and wisdom over them. In a blessing the recipient is encouraged, and Our Heavenly Father is lifted up and glorified. Our faith in Jesus can grow by learning about him. Children should share any type of stories that they know about Jesus, and share it with thier parents or other adults that take care of them.Children it is very important for you to walk with Jesus, because he is your lord and savior and he will protect you. Get to know him because it is easier to get to know him when you are a child. Jesus loves you very much children, and he wants to help you. Just pray to your Heavenly Father, but Jesus really loves you too. What is faith? Faith means acting on what God says in spite of our opinions, our experience, our education. Praise is celebrating WHO God is and WHAT He does. It means filling our minds with His greatness, love, power, and compassion. Praise is also a choice we make to celebrate God's goodness when life is at its worst. It is very important children to praise Our Heavenly Father. It is important to pray and praise the lord as well. In Our Heavenly Father’s timing, one day is one thousand years. Time is important to us, but with Our Heavenly Father, it is not an issue. There is time because He is involved and wants the most and best for us. Time began at creation and becomes the plan through which God continues to unveil his divine purpose for it. He will be watching and working to make the most and best of every situation for us.This is what it means to live by faith in relation to time. In choosing to trust the speed of Our Heavenly Father, we humble ourselves under his mighty, time-holding hand. We hope you enjoy this unique lesson.
Closing Hymn; Children of the Heavenly Father by Carolina Sandell;
Children of the heavenly Father safely in his bosom gather; nestling bird nor star in heaven such a refuge e’er was given.
Closing Prayer; We thank you and praise you for allowing us to learn about you and your timing and blessings. We also praise you for being you, and understanding. We also pray that the children understand each lesson we teach, and also this sermon. We pray this in the name of Our Lord and savior.
Prayer of Salvation: Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior.Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit.
