Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Our Lord and on earth by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss  Written by Raynette K. Weiss and Jessie K. Weiss. We invite you to The biblical meaning of christmas trees and poinsettas. Friday December 22, 2023

At Christmas, we use a Christmas Tree to remember that as it remains ever-green. So the love of God never changes.
If your living in a winter climate, take your child outside to notice how many of the trees have lost their leaves. Talk about the seasons and how the tree change. Then talk about the fur tree and how it remains green.
Introduce how lots of things in life changes, but God remains the same and then review Hebrews 13:8.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8.
The shape of the poinsettia is symbolic of the Star of Bethlehem, which is said to have led the Wise Men to Jesus’ birthplace. The red petals of the poinsettia are said to represent the blood of Jesus, while the green leaves symbolize hope and everlasting life.

1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father, thank You for this day! Thank You for the birds and the animals, the flowers and the trees, the lakes and the streams, and the sun that rises and sets over them each day. Thank You for creating everything we see! Thank You for the life we live, and for making each person different.

Prayer of Salvation to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray.
