Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Our Lord and on earth by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invite you to Sunday service on The book of Jeremiah Chapters 3-8. Sunday September 24, 2023.

Opening Hymn: Saved by Grace by Go fish;

I'm saved by grace through faith oh yeah
I'm saved by grace through faith oh yeah
I'm saved (I'm saved)
By grace (by grace)
Through faith (through faith)

VERSE 1
I have a Bible that I read
I know the truth and I believe
I go to church with my friends
I have a joy that never ends
Not because of anything I've done
There's a reason and it's the only one

VERSE 2
"I'm guilty" that is my plea
But the fine, it's been paid for me
All my sin is thrown into the sea
So up in heaven is where I'm gonna be
Not because of anything I've done
There's a reason and it's the only one

VERSE 3
No matter what the world may say
Jesus is the one and only way
You can doubt it all day
But the truth will never change
If you believe and turn from what is wrong
Then you can join us in our little song - I'm saved!

Sermon;
Our Heavenly Father wishes for the people of Judah to ask for forgiveness of thier sins and return to him. This brings them to a very strong level of his grace. Our Heavenly Father’s call to Israel to return and follow him shows His love and is willing to forgive, giving hope even if it seems that there is looming judgement. Jeremiah was promised that if one righteous or good man could be found, He would not have Judah go through any judgment, but Jeremiah found none. As long as the people of Judah worship at the temple and go through the motions of the services, they're fine. Talks about people that follow Our Heavenly Father who are headed in the wrong direction.

Closing Hymn; Keep on Keeping on by JoJo;

Ooh, hey, yeah, yeah (Oh yeah)
You got to keep on keepin' on
You got to keep your head up high
You gotta work with what you've got
And someday you will fly

[Verse 1]
Second hand clothes
Surviving is pivotal
Praying to god at night
That things'll get better soon
I remember when I was in your position
Tried to tell people my story
But no one would really listen
I know times are hard right now
Happiness is hard to find right now

[Chorus]
You got to keep on keepin' on (Oh)
You got to keep your head up high (Keep your head up high)
You gotta work with what you've got (Oh)
And someday you will fly (Ooh)
You got to keep on keepin' on (Keep on keepin' on)
You got to keep your head up high (Head up high)
You gotta work with what you've got (Oh yeah)
