Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Our Lord and on earth by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss. Written by Raynette K. Weiss and Jessie K. Weiss. We invite you to Sunday service on How Our Heavenly Father wants us to enjoy the holiday season, and ways to help you walk with him correctly. Sunday December 3, 2023.
Opening Hymn: My Heavenly Father loves me by Clara W. McMaster;
1. Whenever I hear the song of a bird Or look at the blue, blue sky, Whenever I feel the rain on my face Or the wind as it rushes by, Whenever I touch a velvet rose Or walk by our lilac tree, I’m glad that I live in this beautiful world Heav’nly Father created for me.
2. He gave me my eyes that I might see The color of butterfly wings. He gave me my ears that I might hear The magical sound of things. He gave me my life, my mind, my heart: I thank him rev’rently For all his creations, of which I’m a part. Yes, I know Heav’nly Father loves me.
Sermon: Our Heavenly Father wants all of us to have a good time during the holiday season, but he wants us to be safe to, so here are some safety tips children should know about and practice during the holidays.
Keep things out of hallways and stairways like toys, so no one gets hurt.
Keep your room cleaned so you do not get hurt walking around, like things off the floor.
Stay away from the kitchen oven without supervision. If a parent or guardian tells you to come over because they want to show you how to cook ok, but wait until you are old enough before using a stove on your own.
Please watch how you cross a street, look both ways, and if you have a walk light follow the walk light.
Make sure all floors are dry in your house so no one slips, if something does not look right let an adult know to come and look.
He also wants you to talk about the bible with your family and friends and you can get them on a website if not in a bible. Our Heavenly Father also expects us to have periods of rest and relaxation, and the holidays are a good time for this. Sometimes when you relax and you have overdone, you can get tired too, and if you are not in school then you can take a nap or some activity outside of your home. During these busy times, try to learn to pace your time so you do not get tired as well. Do a few activities, then sit and rest for a half hour then get up and do a few more. Children, we are in the end times and we really do not know when Our Heavenly Father will be back for us. Therefore we need to start reading the bible everyday and start walking with the lord or getting stronger with him; even if have you have been walking with him a long time. Keep praying to him, and letting him know about your concerns and what you need. If it is in his will it will be granted.After reading the story about Jesus and the tax collector you might have wondered what part of it is about helping others. You see, the simple act of Jesus expressing his desire to dine with Zaccheus is already helping him. He is a sinner and the people most likely didn’t treat him well. But Jesus accepted him for who he was, regardless of his faults. And that is the most powerful thing you can do for someone. Sometimes, that’s all a person ever really needs. For People that are already christians you should know that Jesus is the light in your life. This means that he has already set within you because he dwells in you, the light of life, so all you would have to do is ask Jesus to come into your heart and have a strong belief in him and an understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Closing Hymn: We all clap hands together by loves to sing; We all clap hands together We all clap hands together We all clap hands together When Christmas time is here! We all roll hands together We all roll hands together We all roll hands together When Christmas time is here! We all shake hands together We all shake hands together We all shake hands together When Christmas time is here! We all hold hands together We all hold hands together We all hold hands together When Christmas time is here!
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we thank you for coming to earth and living with us until it was time for you to go to Heaven and rise again for us. Thank you for taking away our sins and giving us the gift of salvation. We pray all children that read this sermon or are read to learn and enjoy it. If they do not understand that Jesus and the Holy Spirit will help them understand. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Prayer of Salvation to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
