Psalm 1 is called a wisdom psalm because we learn that happiness results from our choice to follow Our Heavenly Father’s direction of life. In this psalm the writer sets forth two ways or two directions in life. One is the right way that leads to happiness, and the other is the wrong way that leads to the adversary.(satan). Pslam 2 helps to teach children about how when they land in a life of sin, they can become a child of Our Heavenly Father and pray to him for forgiveness.Our Heavenly Father protects and gives people hope. He also wants peace for us.The victories of sinners are only for a short time and meaningless, and that only asking for forgiveness of sin can bring true happiness. Many such times passed over David, there was a time of his life to which this psalm may not be made, for in this he was writing about, that he was continually fighting with enemies, and his powerful appeals to Our Heavenly Father.
David believes he is suffering because Our Heavenly Father is correcting him (Psalm 6:1). Every night he cries so much that his pillow is wet with tears (Psalm 6:6). He wants Our Heavenly Father to save him from the problem that is before him.

Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father, thank You that You are a God that hears and answers prayer. Help us to look to You to supply all our needs, according to Your riches in glory. We thank you in the name of Our lord and savior.

Prayer of Salvation: Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior.Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
