A Morning Prayer
David sang this when he ran away from his son Absalom.

Lord, I have many enemies!
Many people have turned against me.

Many people are talking about me.
They say, “God won’t rescue him.” Selah

But, Lord, you are my shield.
You are my wonderful God who gives me courage.

I will pray to the Lord.
And he will answer me from his holy mountain. Selah

I can lie down and go to sleep.
And I will wake up again
because the Lord protects me.

Thousands of enemies may surround me.
But I am not afraid.

Lord, rise up!
My God, come save me!
You have hit my enemies on the cheek.
You have broken the teeth of the wicked.

The Lord can save his people.
Lord, bless your people.
Summary; Our Heavenly Father wants people to come to him with thier problems just like David did. Our Heavenly Father protects and gives people hope. He also wants peace for us.
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father Please be with us and help us to have peace day and night. Please bless Our friends and family and people you bring into our lives. In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.
Prayer of Salvation: Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness.
Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior.Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
