The way to always give thanks is to remember to thank God for His eternal gifts and promises. When the Bible says to give thanks in all things, it asks people to thank God for blessings both visible and invisible. When He blesses, thank Him, and thank Him for the things unseen in which Christians place their hope. We need to give thanks for those around us—our spouses, our children, our relatives, our friends and others who help us in
some way. I once received a letter from a woman who began by telling me how fortunate she was to have a friend like her around. We need to thank our teachers when they try to do thier job and are not happy. We need to thank people that help us while doing thier jobs. We need to learn to use our manners, like please, and thank you, or you did a good job. You need to show you appreciate them in some way. This includes your parents. Never forget your parents no matter how old you get. Remember they helped shape your life just like your Heavenly Father and Jesus. If people remember thier manners and thier Heavenly Father and believed in Jesus we would not have as much problem as we do. We would have some because the adversary is still around.
It is the job of parents, grandparents and teachers to show young children how to love and want to read the bible, and live their lives the way his word would want them to.
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we thank you for all you do for us and give to us. I do not know if the children understand that everything they have is yours. We pray that they do realize this, and understand this lesson. We pray that the children coming into the world see what the old times were like and they can help shape the world we have now. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
